What’s your background and expertise?
I’ve been preparing taxes since 2009, when I started part-time with H&R Block as a way to re-enter the workforce after years as a stay-at-home mom. I quickly discovered that I enjoyed the work—especially helping clients understand their taxes and their overall tax situation. In 2016, I moved into public accounting and, in January 2025, I was excited to join the Trail CPA team.
What’s your primary role and responsibility?
At Trail CPA, I focus on tax preparation, year-end clean-up of small business books, and tax planning.
Why did you choose to get into tax?
I was drawn to tax because it combines problem-solving with the opportunity to make a difference for clients. Helping people gain clarity and confidence around their finances is deeply rewarding.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside the office, I enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
